[smiley=nixweiss.gif]BigDaddy, I am also switching over and want to upgrade when I do it. Doesn't make much sense to me to put the same grind back in. You and I have SE-203 cams which have a 510 lift. I have been told that the stock TC88 heads in our bikes will only allow a 530 lift (give or take) because of the valve springs. So now I have to decide if I want to put a S&S or Andrews 537 lift gear setup in and be happy or , get in to removing the heads and replacing the springs with stiffer ones to allow a 620 or so lift. Then the next question is ....well as long as I have the heads off I might as well have them ported and polished. and what about the compression ratio?, maybe as long as I have the heads off I should think about pistons and so on and so on........................................So I am at the point of doing a little for a little bit of $ or a lot for a lot of $.
