I can't answer, but do you have the specs for the 255 cams too?

My mechanic recommends the 259-e. i would like to see some dyno results with this cam. He did not have any. If anyone has used this cam, please let us know. I want to do a cam swap asap. :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

Looks like the moco is trying to cut into the cam aftermaket for late/large tc´s.

Badbagg: I am curious to know why your tech guy is recommending you the SE259.  :nixweiss: From the new SE series, it is prob the only bolt in cam, so that in itself could be a reason, but not enough imo.

That one will push the HP more toward the top end for sure if your after those numbers. Torque below 3, not so much.

Lots of ecperience with the 257 which is closely related other than a more narrow LSA and a tad more overlap. You will be very disapointed using this cam in a stock 110 without headwork and a compression bump

Thanks, that's what I meant to say.

The 257 cam and the andrews 67 are mirror images of each other.  Compression at 10.2+ in a 95 incher they are most top end, in a 103 or 107 good mid range / top.   The 110 with the 10.5 pistons and the 257 cam might suprise you. I recall seeing this in the past, as the S&S 585 works well as well with the increase of compression.

So to the posters question looks like none of us have direct experience with those cams yet.

installed the new cams.  SE259-e dyno results were 96hp 101 tq. My bike also has d & d fat cat and PC-V. Bike runs very well, not as much tq on the bottom side but tons of power on the top end. next upgrade ... headwork and high compression pistons. :2vrolijk_21:

Absolutely
It is not fair to expect it to perform well with that low of compression. That cam needs 10.5/1 to come into its own and the head porting fixes we do to all the 110s
