I'm paying $358/yr in NJ through Foremost for a 2010 SEUC. Includes $250/500,000 liability, $250,000 medical, full coverage on uninsured motorists, $0 deductible on Collision because the SEUC has active security. $3500 additional accessory coverage, Towing/Travel interruption reimbursement.

Are you guys underfunded on your liability coverages? In most of Canada the minimum on Third Part Liability is a min of $1,000,000 and a lot are at $2,000,000. If you get hurt and the other party does not have adequate coverage or takes off you guys are screwed, who pays for your hospitalization and rehab, if their is not enough coverage?

I pay $986.00 per year for $2,000,000 third part liability, all medical coverage, collision, fire & theft with $500. deductible, I know it seems high.

$250/500,000 is generally the highest coverage policy you'll find anywhere. The vast majority of policies on motorcycles in NJ are $100/300,000. Uninsured coverage is a required part of all policies as is the medical coverage of generally $100,00 - $300,000. After that coverage, your normal medical healthcare would take over. Far better than standing in line to see a Dr in the frigid north.

I have a separate $2,000,000 umbrella liability policy but that's unrelated to my motorcycle insurance.
