 Has anybody heard the new BOOM speackers  from H-D  ??   I have an 09 Street Glide and was thinking of upgrading to them At this time dont have the $$$$$$$$$ to put in Hog wirerd setup  thanks

You can use the Hawg Wired speakers w/o a amp until you can afford one. Or the cheaper J&M replacement speakers with the mini tweeter are a big improvement over HD factory speakers. I have no knowledge of the newly labeled "Boom" speakers.

Those Boom speakers really dont have as much punch as you would think. I've in stalled a few on Ultras and some street glide. The complaints that I'm hearing is, ofcourse, no base. You could try a brand name 5.25" or 6.50", and go marine. The price is usually much better.
