E-number on stock 2009 SEUC or SERG mufflers ?
« on: August 26, 2009, 05:45:03 AM »

Does anybody know what mark is on those mufflers ?
Or could check and post that number ?
On the heatshield or probably directly on the muffler ?

There should be a number on the mufllers , and when there would be a big "E" in front of this number then it would be no problem because of the emission law here in germany.
So would someone please post whether there is an "E" in front ( or maybe behind ) the number on the mufflers ?

And when have you last been to Australia?

By the way, I think highjagger wants a picture from an U.S. bike, and if I understand your profile correctly, you should be in our neck of the woods, where every stock exhaust has the e4 stamp on the muffler.

Ride safely,
Louis

That`s it , i was searching for the "e4" stamp ( did not know that exactly , i thought that it would be a big "E" ), but there is no " e4" on your stock cvo mufflers as i see in your post.
Are the heatshields included ?

They are all separate part numbers:
64768-09 Muffler, LH
64769-09 Muffler, RH
66219-06 Heat Shield, RH
66220-06 Heat Shield, LH
66047-05 Clamp, Worm (6)
64993-07 End Cap (2)
66078-06 Retention Ring (2)
65315-96 Hardware Kit, End Cap (2)

(These part numbers are for a 2009 SERG but are the same on the SEUC except for the end caps.  The SEUC has different end caps.)
