Its good to know that you like the bike, I did notice that whine noise in the transmission especially downshifting into first. My mechanic said it may help to have the better engine oil put in it.

NO!!! Not better ENGINE OIL! Use Redline Schockproof Heavy inthe tranny! And louder pipes make the whine go way completely! It's the way the gears are cut that causes the whine. There's nothing wrong, it's just a lil annoying. Between the Redline and my FatCats, whine, what whine?!!! ;)

Not to mention the obnoxiously loud stereo system you have on the bike as well.
