More than 100 of the members here are also members of FaceBook and I follow them.
Set up your friends lists and have fun.
Don't let your kids intimidate you into not enjoying yourself.
I've found family and friends, some that I had not seen in more than 35 years.
It is fun and you can do as much or as little as you want.
If it does not feel right, just don't do it.

Make sure if you do choose to go on that you adjust and modify your personal account setting so no one can go in and assume your identity.

This is a very common thing... I would also reccomend not listing any of your proper dates of birth, home address, or work information.

Also remember, what ever you put on there is there forever.

I'm on it to. Seems to be another way to communicate other than emails. Can find lots of old friends and make some new. But I will warn you now, it is addicting!!  Never thought it would be, but you always want to check it ,go figure!

The wife and kids have been using facebook for sometime and use it daily. I've recently signed up, but only use it once or twice a week.

I am on it too.  My Blackberry has an icon for it and boom I am on in seconds.  It is a nice tool to see what your friends are up to and to find people from the past. I think it is a great tool except for when you want to make a comment on something that someone is doing. My phone starts to chirp everytime someone else comments too.  I don't really care for that. It would be better it it only sent me a notice when the person replied instead of everyone else.
