Bought my first CVO in 05. Ole Yellar never gave me a minutes trouble and turned more heads than the exorcist. My buddy and I both had 05's and when it comes to trading I got my CVO money back and he got none of his mod money back. He spent more on his standard bike than the CVO cost me extra. And the fact you won't see them every place you look ain't bad either. And who says you can't personalize a CVO....Heck with pipes seat and chrome I have dumped $4500.00 more on mine... I gave up everything else that was bad for me so what the heck!

Because I'm not as handsome at 46 as I was at 26.............harder to get the heads to turn my way with advancing age  ;D  Oh yeah, they are cheaper than a Vette.

well, I haven't pulled the trigger quite yet, but here's my thoughts :

- when I look at the SE RG, the first word that comes to mind is "WOW"- the paint, the chrome- just looks awesome

- value- like many have said, can't build one from a stock bike for the same price (at least in the case of the used one I'm considering)

- certain HD's are everywhere- that's one thing I like about my Yamaha Warrior- don't see many on the road, not a cookie cutter bike- so I figure it's replacement should also have the same qualities

- exclusivity- limited production bike is a plus

I always wanted a Harley and at 46 I thought it was time. I still looked at every manufacturer and model available (BMW, Triumph, etc.) but still came back to a Harley. I then wanted something special that would stand out. I first thought the RG was ugly but it grew on me. I then started looking for a SERG and found two. One with a side car in FL and one at a local dealer in VA. I ended up buying the two tone blue one from my local dealer for 16.5K which was a good deal. The attached photo is the day I picked it up. I need to take some current photos after about 5K of changes but it is still cheap compaired to a new one and has much more on it.

Yes it is Shenandoah H-D, very nice dealership by the way. If anyone is in the Staunton VA area you need to stop in their.
The owner also has a SERG.

I was in Staunton today and they have nice 2010 SEUC for sale. This is the first one I have seen and its real nice. The new seat looks nice but looks like it would sit you higher than a standard UC. The rider backrest is also larger which looks nice.

Bigger, Badder, "Scotty we need MORE POWER."  Factory loaded, warranty.  Thought it had everything, but I only made it a few days before adding pipes, air filter, new windshield, bullet chrome rings around lights, upgraded speakers...oh well...

I was looking at a Heritage Softail but I kept coming back to the CVO Softail convertible. I was going to get the heritage but I decided to think about it for a day. In discussing the purchase with my wife I made the comment that the CVO has it all and we would have to add a lot to the heritage to make it special. We own a Corvette and I always wanted a ZO6 and I swore I'd never make that mistake again, are minds where made up. My CVO is my ZO6 of Harley's.  :bananarock:

Well......sort of a long story, but I'll just say, walk'd aroun' the dealer ALL DAY, basically came down ta 2 choices, both pre-owned,1st....an 07 Springer in Abyss Blue.....and they had this Deuce....Liked'm both....basically came down to bang for the buck......knew the previous owner of the Deuce,ALSO knew the Deuce was a "very limited " production, so......chose it........alot of newer CVO's that I'd like ta ride, but only as a second scoot.....noth'n out there that I'd "trade" this bike for!!!! ;D

I love Street Glides and even though my 07 Night Train was a sweet bike.  I had added so many parts it started to look like a Heritage Classic (yes floorboards front and rear too).  My wife and I have looked at Street for the last two years.  I almost bought the 09 FLHX black pearl, never got serious until this year.  I did not like any of the standard factory colors that were available in 2010 and how much money I was going to spend making it mine.  Started working a deal with gloss black and a local paint shop that does awesome work and was going to go with 103 Stage IV kit.  We tanked the entire plan when we saw the Candy Concord with all that chrome and the motor is a plus too.  It was delivered to our house thursday afternoon with 17 miles on it and he took my Train back on the trailer.  The sun is coming up this morning time to add to the 65 miles already on the bike.  Thank you Duane from Owens Cycle in Yakima, WA.

These scooters ROCK!!!!
