Go to "Profile" click on "Modify" and log in. Once you get there click on "Options". You will see in the left column second item down "I have my own pic:" in the box to the right of that put in

Then at bottom click on change profile and that will put your new avatar in service.

Most common mistake in posting attachment is people try to preview it before posting. If you do that then you have to re-attach the attachment. Best thing to do is type what you want to say, and then attach the attachment and post. After you do that the file will be loaded on server and it's easy to link to it. If you need some more help let me know.

BTW - Best size for avatar is 144 Width X 86 Height

you cant link it from your hard drive, it must be on the fourm server or another http server
on the internet, then follow dood's instructions above, and you will be good to go. good luck
