New Guy from Vancouver Island!

Just a brief introduction...I live on Vancouver Island...I am in the medical business...have had new 2009 Road Glide CVO about 8000 km (5000 miles for those south of the border) now! I am thrilled with the bike with the exception of the exhaust/stalling problems. My local HD delaership were quick to recommend me buying new header pipes for 800 to 1000 bucks and a bit of time on the "Dyna"  for fine tuning it! Funny I would have thought when you paid that kinda bucks for a bike it should come "fine tuned" and not be stalling out when it is hot and you begin to accelerate! I just got back from a 7 state 7 day ride and am waiting for the feeling to come back in my lower body...if anyone has any suggestions for bike toys or an idea where I can find some less expensive pipes please let me know. I used to drive an Ultra Classisc and had a BMW K 1200 R. I do a fair bit of touring long distances! Heard about this group from  helpful guy in Reno (I am bad with names I think it was Derreck or Dexter .....sorry if you are out there! He has a silver CVO Road Glide) Look forward to having all of my questions answered on here!
