I didn't go tot Bridal Veil this year - and it is the first time in years (while I was there) there has been more then a trickle going over the top

Fontana Dam was also releasing water through the giant flood gates. The volunteer couple working the visitor center said they have been working for this 2 week period for 8 years and is the first they had seen the overflow.

Even Rainbow Falls (Rt 28) had water this year.

If I recall, it was flowing well in April 2005 we rode right past them as part of the group without stopping...but it WAS the Soggy Vally GTG so go figure...
