Freedom Pipe racetuner map??
« on: December 09, 2005, 06:58:15 PM »

I called Freedom, they say they dont have a map for the racetuner. Does anyone here have this setup? I have decided on the pipes, but dont want to use the PC. Will I have difficulty setting it up? Was going to try and save the 300 on the tuner. I will be selling off V&H ovals, V&H true duals new in the box too!

CVOwner,

On the Freedom Exhaust you will just have to find a SERT Dyno Tuner once your Freedom Exhaust is installed. Get out and find the Best Dyno guy in your area and have him Dyno your scooter with Freedom Exhaust on. I have a friend who is doing the exact same thing in Fresno, CA as we speak.

If I can get a map from someone, I can set it up and ride it to the tuner.

CVO, I'm assuming you already have the SERT?  If not, you should probably just go ahead and get the PC already programmed from Freedom.  If so, you should be able to get it to the tuner on the Stage I map.  How far away is the guy you're taking it to?

I have the Freedom Exhaust with a Power Commander and I don't happen to see anything wrong with it, my scooter runs really/really good. I like you prefer Genuine HD parts but the Power Commander that I purchased from Freedom Exhaust does better than the 2 previous SE RK's with SERT installed. My gut feeling is if you purchase the Power Commander from Freedom Cycles along with there Exhaust you will be

CVOwner,

I have a map that will get you to the tuner and probably run pretty good, but it might not be perfect.

Email me at unbalanced@bellsouth.net

This is for a stock bike with RaceTuner and Freedom Pipes and SE Air Cleaner .. if this is all that you have done I am pretty sure the map I have will get you down the road and maybe needs no tuning.

The freedom pipes are just a slightly modified Rinehart. If someone has with a Race Tuner map for the Reinharts & Stage 1 it will be VERY close. I assume that's what Harry is offering. To get every bit out of it you should have it dynoed though.
