They returned to Sacramento yesterday afternoon.  We immediatly left for the Napa Valley.  Was going to visit a winery but we didn't arrive till about 5:15 p.m. .......fifteen minutes to late. :nixweiss:

They'd been in the saddle since 7:00 a.m. visiting Yosemite National Park, Glacier Point, back to Sac. and on to Napa Valley before moving on to San Francisco.  They're troopers, for sure! :2vrolijk_21:

At one point Jorge pulled up beside us and said "today I brake every traffic law there is!".  We explained to him that it's not quite that bad........lane splitting is legal in Calif. :huepfenlol2:  But riding the sholder to get past miles of stopped cars might get him a ticket.

More of the typical bay area, bumper to bumper, stopped on the freeway type traffic......

Jorge leaned over and told me that riding his motorcycle to across the Golden Gate bridge to San Francisco was a life long dream.....

This is about where I'm wondering "where did Jorge disappear to?".  All of a sudden I look the next lane over and Jorge come squeezing up between the cars with a big grin on his face and says "I learn!" as he's lane splitting.

Lane splitting is a way of life in the bay area if you ride.  Not much choice for an air cooled motor. :nixweiss:
