Just got a call from Mikey and his computer crashed last night. Apparently he was looking at all of the MV09 pictures and his hard drive couldn't handle the excitement.
He said he'll get it fixed or buy a new one, but should be up and running in a few days.

As I type this, I am sitting on my back porch drinking coffee. My old broken cmputer is still up in the boy's club.
I followed AJ's leed and bought an Eee PC. This is like the one he bought, has all the same features except it is a little smaller in size and it was $ 50.00 less at Best Buy. This thing only weighs 2.5 lbs.
I can't believe how well it works and faster and has more memory than my old desktop.

Amasing, isn'it?
Our little netbook is not as fast as one of our computers, and is slower than the other.  Much easier to look at than the Web browser on the phones.  It just makes travelling a whole lot easier and you are not tied to a particular location in the house.  Like you said, coffee on the deck is possible. 
Now, I'm not sure about throwing you...

I may be old but not blind!
The screen is just fine. I can also hook up my desktop monitor to this little machine and can use my big screen tv as a monitor.
So far I am real pleased with this unit.
