Not yet.  The problem I have is not doing my homework 1st.
There is a witness form that I was supposed to get signed at the start & end of the ride.
The end of the ride is not a problem.  I didn't get 1 at the start because I didn't know I needed it.
I have the receipts including the time I checked out from the hotel 3:53AM.
I emailed the org and they said send in the documentation I do have and a note explaining why I am missing what I am missing and see what happens.
I called the hotel and the clerk is working this weekend.  I will talk to him tonight.
I am not going to ask him to sign the form now, just ask if he will vouch for me if they contact him to verify.

He should remember me as I "woke" him up when I checked out.

Steve

Did you register it w/ the Iron Butt Association (http://www.ironbutt.com/about/default.cfm)? They give you a nice certificate etc. I did 1735 km (1085mi) in just under 16 hrs this summer.

Thanks, but no.  I will not lie on this.
I did the ride.  I know I did the ride.  Everyone who saw me leave the group at Rocky Waters Sat night, last saw me at 8:30PM (25 hours)

The clerk at the Best Western is the only 1 who saw me at the start at 3:53AM.

The piece of paper on the wall would be nice, but if they don't certify my ride then I guess I will just have to do it again next year.  ;)

Kudos to you Steve!
That's one heck of a ride on any bike, let alone an '05 SEEG.

Hopefully you'll get the certificate that you deserve... But like you say, you did it and you know you did.  You gotta feel pretty damn proud of yourself and rightfully so.

Congrats!  :2vrolijk_21:

It would not be a lie, but I respect your decision. I was there when you left on Sat. And I knew you were going to get home Sun.

Anyway, I would bet if you send them this Thread you will get your Certficate.......I would battle for it myself.

Once again good job   :2vrolijk_21:

Congrats on the Ride.  I would love to do one myself, but I don't think that I would have a azz left after 1000 miles on a stock FLSTFSE seat.

Congrats on your ride! I've done many on my Wing... look forward to getting my first in on my SERG. Did 600 miles on my very first ride on it... mostly 2-lane highway, with lots of "I can't beleive I now own this AMAZING ride" photo stops, so I don't see too much problem pushing it to 1K.

Hopefully the hotel guy will hook you up with your witness form, so you can get your documentation squared away.

I just got off the phone with the clerk and he remembers me and said he will validate my departure time if contacted.
I will get the paperwork submitted later today.
