CVO Unique clothing line?
« on: September 30, 2009, 02:23:50 PM »

You wonder why with 10+ years of making CVO bikes and the number of owners out there, why they have not come out with a CVO Leather Jacket, owner shirts...

Anyone ever ask, seen anything or discussed with their dealer?

Try Screaming Eagle. Mother Harley focuses on that instead of CVO.

It would be nice if, when you purchased a CVO bike, you got a coupon for an exclusive jacket or something like that...

Baby steps first.  I'd be happy if the dealership gave me a wallet to hold my registration (no cash-I'm a CVO owner)  ;)

Ya'll are doing all the new product idea thinking for the MoCo.  Send 'em a resume' and start consulting.  The color matched helmet would be a great product.  They could do different models too. And outher products........ But then, why would JCZ need his own personal painter?  :nixweiss: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: Har~  :drink: spyder

Well, I know the amount of money that the group has spent at the dealerships for the last two Maggie Valley trips. I'm sure this information is readily available to the MoCo. If it is any indication of what Screamin Eagle owners are willing to spend on specialty items,  it is unimaginable why they wouldn't have their (our) own clothing line. What is most surprising is that most of the line that is offered caters to the Performance Parts division and not the exclusive CVO line. I agree that they are missing out on a large opportunity.

I got 1 free ticket to an exclusive museum... i wonder how many people actually used theirs and didn't take a paying visitor along.

Did it myself. T's, sweatshirts, jackets - got 'em all. I have shared the stitch files in the past and offer to do so again for anyone who wants to find their own embroiderer and have the logo put on whatever they want, in what ever color they want.

I do not sell any finished product, I do not sell the stitch files, had them scanned for personal use but scans are pricey so why should anyone else pay for them if they're done. The only thing you would need to do is have your own bike designation scanned (SERG, SESG, etc) if you want that inside the bar like I did.

I agree, HD is missing a great marketing opportunity (hear that you HD lurkers out there). I would gladly purchase product from HD (and do all the time) if they made what I want. Most of the stuff I have stitched starts with a HD jacket, t-shirt, sweatshirt or shirt purchase.

PM me if you would like the files.
