LCD dipstick - anyone have theirs short out due to rain?

POS - On the way down to MV, 400 of my 750 miles were in the rain, sometimes very heavy.

Had moisture in the LCD sometime after the first 200, but it still worked.

Dead now, pulled it apart last night and it is fried inside. What good is a LCD dipstick if you will not work in the rain?

I have bought two of these in my past.  Never again.  Each had the life span of the infamous MOCO heated grips....   >:(

Mine failed too so installed the MOCO gauge in dash.  Always had moisture in the dispstick LED like you.

Never again.

Might go with the oil temp in the useless air temp gage.

I dunno, prolly shouldn't say this. But mine's been working fine, and without moisture inside, since the day I got the bike, almost 3 years now! ;)
