The fitment issue he mentions may have something to do with the front seat bracket on the FXR4's. You will need to take the bracket off/ the seat will then sit properly. I had to do this with my FXR4 to make the LePera fit.
Not a big deal; two bolts to remove/ take bracket off and install bolts again.
Yup, I had to remove front seat bracket bolted on top of the tank"s mounting flanges.

yes, that should work fine ... there is no other difference in the frames on the FXR, just that nose bracket for the tounge from the seat to slip under .... stupid azz design .... why they didn't just keep making the hinge seats .... oh, CHEAPER !!!!

good thing for a lot of us, they at least keep putting the welded parts on the frame !!!!
