The 431 will take you to the 341 and then 342 to Virginia City and the new Peace Officers Museum.

From Virginia City it was back to Carson City and Joe's 395 Bar be Que on Carson Blvd.  Best food of the trip and the most interesting paraphernalia.

From Joe's, it was south on the 395 past Topaz Lake, the Walker River, Bridgeport, Mono Lake to the Mammoth Lake Loop and a night in Mammoth.  Then Sunday morning, we headed down the 395 to the 14 south and homeward.  I'm a skier so I've made this part of the trip to Mammoth many times.  Never got to stop in Red Rock Canyon before.

Four days, 1160 miles.  One happy bunch of guys.  Best of all, everyone got home safe and no breakdowns.

One last stop at Mike's Road House in Bakersfield where they have a collection of peddle cars.  Had to shoot the yellow ones.  I'll post a route link tomorrow.
