I was able to get out for a ride this weekend and am very satisfied with the mono tube kit. The ride is somewhat firmer without being harsh. Soaks up the bumps well and didn't bottom out over the deep ruts. Thumbs up from me!    :2vrolijk_21:

Would you guys kindly advise as to what model and year bike installed on.  09 front end was supposedly upgraded so I am particularly interested in these.  Don't say it, my wife already reminded......it's not always all about me ;D ;D

2004 SE EGlide. I used the stock height cartridges to raise the bike up.

Finally got her back from the dealer yesterday (I think I forgot how to ride it was so long!)

What a improvement! Very little dive at braking and excellent all around handling!  Even my dealer was impressed,  and he usually recommends the RaceTech Gold Valve...

I dont think you can go wrong for under $300.00..... If you have done the rear's,  no excuse not to fix your front end....

Long term tests in a few weeks... 70deg today,  but snow this weekend...... CHICAGO! :2vrolijk_21:

Finally got the SERG out of the garage.  I like the new Progressive Monotube, as reported before there is less dive on braking and feels better cornering (due to the stiffer ride).
Pretty easy to install, could probably have done it without removing the forks but I followed the instructions.
Already had the 440's in the rear so I'm rockin'.
Harley could do a lot by supplying there flagship bikes with decent suspension-but what do I expect for $40000.   :2vrolijk_21:

But then where would be the fun.

Who uses the useless HD GPS unit?  So we buy garmin's and the HD OEM's the unit with the HD logo.

New pipes, A/C tuning.  Man then we would all have the same bike.

My wife and I rode our 07 SEUC a little over 160 miles yesterday, mostly on back roads. I had Progressive 440HD's 13" installed in the rear and the new standard length Monotube System installed in the front. Two up I noticed more improvement than I had solo. It was night and day. We rode over a set of railroad tracks that we cross all the time and my wife mentioned it was the first time she did not bounce in her seat. The bike handled so much better, even on rough roads. I was wondering if I should upgrade to the new frame, I am now completely satisfied with what I have, not saying the new bike is not better, just that this improvement made me that happy. The only negative that I have experienced is the legnth of my front forks, it seems that my front end sits about a half or quarter of an inch lower in the front, Progressive should tell folks that there system lowers the front end a little bit, one other guy that installed the system mentioned the same thing.

I too had an 07 and finally bit the bullet and bough the 09 after much deliberation.

Bottom line, best HD I have ever onwed.

Between the new suspension dynamics, new frame, new tire sizes (I have over 11000 on the rear and atleast 3000 to go) and the ABS, the ride is a huge improvement.  Huge, enormous.

No wobble etc.
