thanks for the posts. I will contact fullsac.. so no-one is backing up harleys vresion of the powercommander? they want 1000 bucks for the tuner, pipes and intake with a dyno tune... sounded pricy to me, but I will need some sort of comuter download no matter what direction I go... correct?

I used Harley's tuner, Fullsac 2.5" cores and a Standard 96" catless headpipe and had real good results. Good luck which ever way you go.

Edit: I meant to say Fullsac 2.25"

I spent 2K, that included CR575 cams, adjustable pushrods, 96" pipe, Fullsac baffles, TTS tuner, and all labor to perform work with dyno time.

et

You would not "need" a download for just that one change, but, it would run better if you did. Even with NO changes to a stock bike, a good tune would work better than stock tune.

The head pipes are the same (excluding the HDI models) and DO follow the same routing as what you have.

TTS Mastertune, 1.75" Fullsac baffles and remove the Cat.

Great combo IMO
If you like a little more noise, go with the 2" cores. This will show 10-15 HP and Torque over a stock bike.

ya had to bring that up didn't ya? If you swap out to a 96 catless headpipe and run into problems you can swap back. if you remove the cat you automatically void the warranty on the exhaust, if you have motor problems that can be related to the modified exhaust then again yes.
I have been catless for a year now and have have my SERG in for warranty work without any issues, they don't even noe I did it, or the Fullsacs, or the mastertune.
It helps if you know what to do before you take it in, and know what the dealers needs to do to it when he has it. they don't go in and try and find anything that will let HD off the hook. most items require only Digital technician to be hooked up and that won't see a catless headpipe, or a Mastertune.
this question has been asked many many times, and you'll get many answers/opinions.
If you have spare time, look up Magnusson/Moss act
