New SESGs have a proximity alarm. As long as you have the key fob with you it deactivates the alarm when you walk up to the bike.Alarm sets automatically when you walk away.Don't know what happens if you  start the bike then ride away from the fob.

You're fine until you shut it off then need to restart it again.  :o

There's a way of shutting the alarm off if you lose the FOB or for some reason it doesn't work using the turn signal buttons.Very good idea to set a code & know how to use it.Know of a couple times where interference of some sort disabled the FOB.

right now my dealer is getting me a price on some exhaust from Freedom Performance, does anyone have this brand on thier bike?
Heard all their pipes at Street Vibes this year and if you like loud they are. They had a line of bikes each with a different pipe and they all sounded close to same and did I mention LOUD. Good luck with yours.

They have the air temp gauge.  There is a replacement gauge currently available, but the back-lighting is different than the other SESG gauges although the face is the same.  There is a thread on the topic here:

H-D Oil Temp Guage - no go for FLHXSE?

I don't know the answer to your question about the slip on's, although the manufacturer of you exhaust ought to be able to answer that question.

Due to the streatched bags, you'll need 4" exhast cans to fill the hole in the back.

Only difference I notice is it's a lot easier to cancel the cruise by twisting the throttle ahead.Last bike seemed like there was a catch in it .Was easier to just hit the brake.Don't always like to show the brake light when I go off cruise.
