1.  Tote Goat - Does anyone remember these?
2.  Honda 50 - It was so tired I had to get off and push to help it up the hill.
3.  Honda 305 Superhawk - Pretty quick for its day.
4.  Honda CB 750F - Very fast.
5.  Honda 750 K1 - Very reliable.
6.  Another Honda 750 K1 - Not so reliable.
7.  Honda 250 Elsinore MT - Alot of fun, but discovered I was not cut out for this kind of riding.
8.  2002 Heritage Softail Classic - My first Harley.  I loved the nostalgic look!  Never any problems.
9.  2008 Screaming Eagle Anniversary Ultra Classic - Best ever and probably my last bike.

Kawasaki 175 street/trail
1975 Honda CB750
1980 Kawasaki Z1R 1000

I took a 15 year break from street bikes while the kids were growing up. During that time, I bought myself a Honda 350X three wheeler and for the kids, three Honda Trail 70's and a Honda XR 75.

When I got back on the road again, I bought this 2005 Harley Fatboy.

My first bike was an ex racing Honda Dream circa 1970 followed by restoring a 1955 Velocette, then a couple more Hondas, 450 Ducati Desmo, 1985 Sportster, Honda Shadow, 1992 Fatboy, 2000 Yamaha Roadstar and now my 2008 StreetGlide

grahamjb, your list is interesting.

Somewhere on CVO-Forum there is an Oxy-moron list with lots of funny things listed.  Not to be disrepectful, but a Racing Honda Dream has to be added to the list.

I know, I know, back in the day, that's about all there was.  We sold Bridgestones starting in about '66 and when I went to the service training in Rockford IL, they had a 50cc racer chopped down from a standard 50cc Sport.  It still had the stamped steel body/frame work.  Lightweighted as much as possible.  They said it could hit 70 mph with the right lighter than me rider.  I think Yamaha at the time had a tube framed racing version of their 100cc twin.  I once road a 100cc twin road bike and it had to be rev'd to the red line to get my fat butt moving; not a good bike for the hilly area we lived in.

Thanks for listing your rides.

I had an '05 Honda Shadow.  It was my first bike and it did me good for the money.  It was a good little bike and I would recommend it as a starter bike anytime.  I have since grown up and now own a bike that will keep me smiling the rest of my life.

I understand your concern about my racing Honda dream. Apart from being ugly and having terrible drum brakes the Dream was real quick. The engine was lowered three inches in the frame and it was bored out to its limit. I don't know what was done to the head, carby and suspension but depending on what rear sprocket was fitted, it would beat the pants of a Honda 750 to ninety miles an hour and it went around corners nearly (sort of) as well as the 450 Desmo.

I should have kept it but I never appreciated its value until a few years ago.

1959 Cushman Super Eagle Scoot
Various Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha dirt bikes
1989 Cop Electra Glide (1st Harley)
2004 SE Electra Glide - still my favorite
2009 SERG - Silver/Tit - pick up next week.

These were the ones owned.  I do remember the Tote Goat..used to climb trees in the woods of Montana with my boss's.  I did ride brother's and friend's bikes, though....Moped, Stallion, Pony, Matchless 500, BSA Bonneville, BSA Victor, Yamaha 650, 750.

Wish I had my Cushman back.  Painted it gold metalflake, full windshield and storm apron, straight pipes, dualed, large red dice on shifter lever.  That thing could hit 60mph with it's 8HP engine.  Sort of tricky in the snow, I recall.

The 2004 SE Electra glide`s favorite status is comming to an end. Wait till you ride your new SERG !   Enjoy it.
