I think a different name would be better, bean bag toss maybe.
If someone asked If I wanted to play Corn Hole, I'd shy away.
Larry that is to funny, the bags are filled with corn. So the game is called corn hole because you toss the bag about 20 ft. into the hole in the board. Corn Hole, is a great game that  :drink: is almost required. We started playing about two years ago when 3 kids were in collage and we also play beer pong. Now you can really get chit faced playing that.

I've never played it, but it even has an organization supporting it.

There are at least two organizations in the USA that promote beanbag toss games.  The size of the board is different between the two, and of course the Bean Bag Toss moniker is a little less off-putting to some folks.  I understand from some of my twenty-something relatives that these games are quite popular in a lot of bars, and they actually have tournaments.  I've played a few times at family picnics and it's basically a less strenuous alternative to pitching horseshoes.  It's also a bit safer, since you don't have to dodge errant iron shoes.

I understand that the learning process goes quite quickly.   One can start out as a "tight end",   and before ya know it,  they're a "wide reciever"........ ::)

Chris, I forgot in my previous post to congratulate you on the fine job you did.  That is the best looking board I have ever seen.  Now you need to add a matching scoreboard (for those of us who can't remember the score for more than 20 seconds or so, even when sober).

Boards look good.  :2vrolijk_21:

Howie, it's like horseshoes w/ beanbags. 'Tis really an excuse to drink in the back yard while getting a little exercise.  :drink:
Since Melanie's relatives are from Oklahoma, when they said we were gunna a play us some "corn hole", I began wondering my self. (with my back against a wall) Turned out it was a lot of fun and am looking forward to playing again soon.

Now the Oklahoma folks brought it so I nicknamed it " Hillbilly Horse Shoes".. They got a kick out of that.
