FYI - If you want to have the lock on your TP keyed to the locks on your bike when you order make sure you have your key code to give them. This way they can order the lock to fit existing key.

And if I remember correctly the lock is extra along w/the mounting bracket, and pads (backrest).

The lock is only $20.  I ordered mine a while ago, and still no call from the dealer. I'm guess it takes a little bit to make since it's a 'custom' order.

But the d00d is right, there's no "kit" to mount the TourPaks.  Everything needs to be pieced together.

I finally broke down and ordered my King Tour-Pak last Saturday.  Parts guy called yesterday evening and it came in... it only took 5 days!  Is that crazy or what?!!  Hahahaha   

Now I have a question... for those of you that have installed a removable tour pak...  What do you do with the stubby radio antenna?  I see in the pics that it is off or it would hit the tour pak, but doesn't that screw up your radio reception?

Go with one of the hidden antennas.....Dakota Digital or Tune Trapper.....and put it up in the front fairing.   I always listen to XM, anyway.

How difficult is it to get XM on the bike?  I have it in my car and love it!  On the bike it would be even better because of having to never travel out of range of the signal.  XM is definitely on my to do list!
