Good observation...That is weird.........Looks like the Hi-outputs on fish eyes bike does hang a little lower below the bags when you compare them to mrwclarks Hi-outputs (post 37 or 38) .   Unless its the angle of the pictures that distorts the height.

I've noticed two items in the photos of the V&H HO slip-ons:  1)  Photos with V&H dresser duals, the slip-ons appears to hang further below the bag vs. the V&H power duals.  2) Also, the V&H logo appears to be top center (under the bag) in many of the pics.  Mine are at a 45 degree angle to TDC just as the V&H web shot shows.  (My pipes aren't installed yet as I'm still waiting on the power duels to arrive.)  Is it me or has anyone else noticed this?

When you clock the slip-ons to install on the dog-bones it places the VH logo in the center under the bags. The mount holes are actually 45 degrees off center, not the VH logo. The mufflers don't mount in the same manner as the stockers.

Hope this helps ...

Interesting. . . .  Thanks for the info.  I didn't know that.  So the V&H web photos are for advertising purposes only.  I guess I'll see the results once I get mine installed in the next week or two.  I actually prefer the logo TDC.

I saw that also.  I figured the medallions just don't show on the website photo.  I read a while back on a V&H Facebook posting that 100 sets of the chrome and black HO slip-ons where mfg. in Dec(?) and used for shows etc.  I'm sure some of these found their way to dealers etc.  Maybe some of the early installs/deliveries came from these units and maybe they are slightly different than the final production models?  Just a thought. . . . .  Anyway, I like the looks of the medallions on your pipes!  :2vrolijk_21:

I just found the V&H posting I was referring to:  >>Vance & Hines @Mark - yes, the hi-output slipons are in production, only pilot runs of 100 qty have shipped in black and chrome so far to Drag. And yes, they will have an optional quiet insert, 21905. It drops the sound level 2-4 dB. These will be available early february 2010.
