Also would appreciate any ideas for filling in the holes and space that is left when you remove the stock backrest on the Tour Pack. Sure does leave a cavity and the message "somethings missing here".
Corbin does sell a smaller back pad but without a passinger seating area any type of backrest to me seems like it would be a little funky.
Too bad (maybe there is?) there isn't a small leather tool case etc that would mount in that cavity.
Any ideas?

Bill, have you thought about having something custom made to fill that area and your needs?

Or better yet, this one is all chrome and could also be used to change your oil.

MJZ:
I have the exact same seat on order with optional backrest.
The great thing about Corbin is they will modify the seat exactly to your measurements at no additional charge. I had the move the bacl of the seat just a 1/2'' and also bolster the backrest pad the same.
Hey,1/2 " can't hurt!
When I go far, I'm a little nervous how the Tour Pack is going to look hanging off the back of the bare fender. I'd ask you to send me a shot but I'm guessing that's a bad subject at this time for you.
Looks dynamite. Nice going on that.

Harleybill, I shot a couple of pixs of the bike with the tour pack and solo corbin on. Looks better than I was expecting.

Now that I look at it the picture, the passenger backrest does look a little strange hanging there. It really doesn't look that odd in person.

HarleyBill,
Check with MrsWeCVO I believe she relocated her tourpak (which will take care of that "empty" space), and she has solo seat. W/O searching to long I found this picture of her on bike, she may have others somewhere that better show it.

I never minded the look of my tourpak with the solo seat, but it drove my husband crazy.  He ordered the relo kit and moved my tour pak forward for me to use as a back rest. It did mean loosing that pretty chrome rail that goes around the seat. But then for some reason, I have now forgotten, he took the tour pak off my bike and I asked him to return the chrome trim and I have been riding like that for a couple of months.  As Firedood said, the picture is with the tour pak forward.  I am not sure what I think about the stock tour pak pad.  It seemed a little poofy to me and when it was hot outside - man was it hot.  But I liked the look and it pushed me a little forward, which was not a bad thing.  Now corbin says that the tour pak moved forward does not work with our seats, although, with some persistance and some verbolics, it did fit.   ;)

Here is a pic of solo seat without the tour-pac backrest and forward relocate. Do not know the chick but liked the way tour-pac looked on the [smiley=pumpkin.gif]in Sturgis.

Got to laugh about it to keep from kicking something. Bought another banana chopped tour pac and it was shipped to me via FedEx. When it arrived last week, the box was fine; I was really excited until I opened the box. FedEx must have loaded a very heavy load on top of it. Fiberglass had breaks and there were cracks everywhere in the gel coat. After seeing this one, I decided mine was not so bad, it only has a damaged outside corner on the lid. I'll get a picture of the damage Wednesday and post.
