Your stock clamp is all you need on the 09 with the bar change.  It is a one piece clamp.  Doc

How do you remove the TBW unit ?
How is it fixed ?
Any difficulties when removing them ?
Any things where you have to pay a lot of attention at ?

The TBW is pressed in, a good tug and it comes out.   Doc

I'm in the middle of changing to the WO517s and am at a work-stoppage.  I'm having zero success at getting the wire cannon plugs apart to transfer the wiring over to the new bars.

I was told by the local dealer tech that you need to use some very small needlenose pliers or hemostats to insert through the two center holes, pinch clips inside and pull the pin plate partially out.  You then insert a very small pin into the hole next to each pin to release the pin.

I can't seem to get the pin plate to release...are there any special tools or technique?

Klaus,

THANKS!   :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:  Thats exactly how it works!  I finally looked at a friend's service manual and figured it out.  The Technician at the dealer told me there was some type of clip/tab behind the pin plate that I had to pinch to pull the plate out a little so you could then use the pin tool to release the pins.

NOT SO!  Saw nothing about that in the manual so I grabbed the two "D" holes in the center with a pair of small needle-nose pliers and PULLED...and...voila!

I'm taking pics of the process and will post when done.
