Moving Tour Pack?
« on: January 09, 2006, 09:53:02 AM »

Has anyone moved the tour Pack on the their 06 CUSE?  I had them set it up in the forward position and the wife does not want to be that close to me I guess where's the love?  Anyway big deal or not.

J.J., Somewhere posted here last year was a thread with pics about an adapter that allowed positioning the tour pac.  Try the search function and I will also.  It was a good thread with install pics.

The tour-pak has two mounting hole locations.  No big deal to move it to the backmost position.  If you have someone to assist then after you remove the bolts they can help you hold the tour-pak, move it back and you can drop in the bolts and attach nuts and tighten.  Took me and the Mrs. less than 10 minutes. Not to change topic here,  but I just moved my 06 tour pack all the way back a few days ago also.

Question, .... what is the unused little 3 wired plug inside the tour pack under the liner for ??

I can attach a pic if needed.

I called Mr.Anderson and ordered his bracket.
He was full of information and it arrive in a couple of days. I had the local Harley shop install it before I took delivery of my FLHTCUSE. It is GREAT! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
I have plenty of room now for a passenger and I don't have to worry about thr rear speakers when throwing a leg over the bike. ;D
I had them use the rearmost setting 2.5" back for maximum room.

I received my bracket from Mr. Anderson a couple of days ago.  Great part and wonderful service!!  I would not hesitate to recommend him for this Item.
