Highlights of our route:
Ship Bikes to Sacremento, CA...Fly out and start our trip on Monday Aug. 23rd. and return to Indiana Wed. Sept. 8th. (16 day trip)
Stop at Ft. Bragg.
San Fransisco....Golden Gate Bridge..Napa Valley Wine Tour....Alcatraz...China Town...and anything else that looks good while in S.F.

Mojave
Barstow, CA
Williams, AZ
Grand Canyon
Sedona, AZ (wife and I are staying for 5 days, and shipping bike back)

Sante Fe
Some where in OK
Joplin, MO
Back home in Indiana

Man! You are talking some heat that time of year!!!
I hope you take precautions, or have ridden that route before!
Be careful.
We usually ride Springtime that route, more flowers and green at that time of year.
Ride at night, take plenty of water.

Sixteen Day trip through Europe in July - Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria & Lichtenstein. Middle weekend will be in Lugano, Switzerland for the European HOG Rall incorporating Swiss Harley Days. Lots of Alpine riding taking in as many passes as possible.

Should be a blast.

I was on that route last September and it was friggin' hot!!! Beautiful, but HOT!
