10 SESG wheel swap with 09 SERG
« on: January 08, 2010, 09:19:01 PM »

Jim Glide is a newer member here on the forum and from the Sacramento area.  He mentioned to me a week ago that he'd like to get a pair of 10 SESG wheels (black and chrome) for his 09 Silver, gray and black SERG.  I was already interested in getting some all chrome wheels for my SESG. Jim suggested a straight across swap.

After a little research, I decided to take the plunge and Jim and I met to view each others wheels first hand.

I know.....we're keeping bad company.  :huepfenlol2:

This wheel looks like it was designed for the silver/gray/black SERG.

It was raining when we picked the bikes up tonight, so they're not clean......but you get the idea.

JC,
The Agitators look great on the SERG, IMO he got the best end of the deal.   I don't really care for the look of the SERG wheels on the SESG, but that's just my opinion...sorry...

I agree, they do look great on the SERG.

But I am glad that we have different opinions........it'd be a boring world if everything was a carbon copy.  My thinkin is the Aditator doesn't belong on the SESG......doesn't match any of the three of them.  But it sure matched that silver/gray and black SERG just fine. :2vrolijk_21:

Hi JC,

My wife, Liz and I both think the all chome wheels on the CVO Street Glide looks awesome and if fact, she didn't want me to trade my wheels at all. I just wanted to tone down the chrome a bit on my SERG (just a personal perference). I think both bikes look fantastic and unique from other CVO's out there. Can't wait to meet up again at the Easy Rider's show next weekend and meet some of my CVO brother's and sister's.
