I like the SERG wheels the best on both bikes! But I do concur with the caliper sawp needing to be done. :2vrolijk_21:

There's a set of calipers on their way to the chrome shop.   :2vrolijk_21:

24 hours 18 minutes from the first post of this thread to your decision to chrome the calipers. That's movin' pretty fast. But it's a good move!

Hello CAP, I would love to see Kim's RG with those two changes. This sounds like a project I'm working on. If everything goes as planned, I should have some new Black Powder coated Paul Yaffe handlebars on within the next few days.

Sorry Jim... it was a typo. Meant to say Jim.  Pretty sure that was yours in the service area early this morning wasn't it??  Can't be another one with those wheels on it around I don't suppose.

10-4. Your probably right. I hope to meet you this next Friday or Saturday at the Easy Riders Show in downtown Sacramento. Will you be there?

Wow, JC and Jim, Both look really good..... Hmmm, wonder how they'd look on an O/B SERG?

I think they would look equally impressive :2vrolijk_21: In fact, I was talking to a guy today in Sacramento who saw my bike and new wheels today while out riding and he said he was going to tell his friend, who has the Orange and Black SERG that he should switch out his wheels as well. This particular guy I just meet, said his 2010 RG was already scheduled to appear at the Easy Rider's show next weekend in Sacramento and he's already put more money into it than if he had just bought a CVO, and he still has his paper plates on his brand new bike.

Jim........Chuck (CAP) is referring to your bike.  Just a typo....typed a "K" instead of a "J"......made it Kim instead of Jim. :2vrolijk_21:

The more and more I look at these rotors I figured out what it is that is making me think that they belong on the other wheels....

On the Agitator wheels you can see that they cut some angles where they connect to the hubs giving the visual appearance that there is a "swoosh" (for lack of a better word) in the caliper as it is in the wheel...

Damn you Gary!   I already noticed that but wasn't pointing it out to everybody else.  You're right.......for both bikes, the rotors have to be changed along with the calipers.

Now I've been real careful not to cost you any money over the years Gary.  But you drew the first beed. >:(

 Sorry. :-[ :huepfenlol2:

The clarification was more to explain what I was talking about when I mentioned the caliper/rotors previously. Just appears that there was more thought put into the design of those rotors then the SERG. They have given a visible angle where they connect to the hub, and also blacked out the hub to make it blend in (match wheels) more. Just don't see how they can call the rotors on the SERG matching with them being straight cut to the hubs when the wheels have that "swoosh" in them. :nixweiss:

Oh... BTW... since you noticed it first you really can't blame me. ;) :P ;D

Liked them both before and after, hard to say which way I would have went, what ever the owner thinks is the best way, no matter what anyone else thinks.  They pay the bills.
