My own brothers had a close cal this morning
« on: January 18, 2010, 12:50:08 PM »

This is an incident involving my department
A motorist called 911 about a section of roadway collapsing. Crews found a gas leak and while working to contain the leak a building exploded.

Once again we lucked out, no injuries.

This is A Platoon, my shift is C platoon

As a matter of fact we do, $300 a year rolled into our base pay, works out to a little over 14 cents an hour  :huepfenjump3:

At least you get that... we get nothing. :( As you and I both know we (and all the rest that have chosen public safety as an occupation) don't do this for the money.
