Boquete Panama??

Really looking into Panama as a place to retire and I was curious if anyone on this site has had any dealings with Panama. I am looking into the area of Boquete as a place to start but if anyone has better locations or insights that would be great.

Well the nice thing about Boquete Panama is that it is up in the mountains and the humidity is around 30%. I think the cost of living overwhelms the higher humidity. Being part of the baby boomer's era I am very concerned about retiring in this country which I love but I don't believe I will be able to afford.

My wife has a friend who built a new home in the past few years in Panama, it is awesome.  I will see if I can find the picture and post it later today.

That would be awesome!! Right now it is just a thought but the more info I can get on Panama the more I want to proceed with getting there.

  I do not remember, but we will e mail her this weekend and get you the location.  Barb and his husband Bob (now deceased) Live in Milwaukee all their lives.  One of Bobs last rides to the best on my knowledge was in the 105th anniversary parade.  It was their dream to retire and build in Panama, Barb is forfilling their dream.

Barbs home is in Altos Del Maria - don't know if you have  heard of that.  She is about an hour and 15 minutes from Panama City.
