2004 SEEG King Tour Pack
« on: February 10, 2010, 11:48:56 AM »

Have all the bits and pieces for my new king tour pack and now have to decide on paint/graphics.  I am installing air wing rack with red LED light, 2010 LED rear light bar with housing painted to match and LED side marker lights.  For 2004, the HD paint scheme came with the graphics painted on the lid only, however, I've seen some on this forum paint the saddlebag graphics on the sides of the tour pack.  I question just doing the lid because the passenger backrest and luggage rack hides most of the graphic and not sure I want to spend money painting a graphic on something that isn't seen.  The last option is just to paint it all orange pearl and accent with more chrome!  Need some help.

Pete - I have some pics somewhere showing some additional graphics on the tourpak. I'll post them later. Since I have both the small and king tourpak I can tell you the king looks barren without the standard Electra Glide taillights, so it really needs something.

I have the luggage rack on my king pak and I think it would look strange if it didn't have the factory graphics that come with the short pak.

My opinion would be at least paint the top to match your SEEG and come up with something for the sides and or back.

Thanks Duane

I agree with the look w/o the rear lights, just a big box, that's why I'm going with the LED light bar like the 2010 SEUC has.  Part just became available.

Don't want it to look too busy with a lot of graphics, right now I'm kind of picturing a 2010 SEUC tour pack with the SEEG stock graphic on lid.

Guess I haven't seen one yet. Is the tourpak bottom the same shape or do you have a 2010 tourpak?

Got a part number for that?

OK, here are some pics, they are all red bike pics, but the paint scheme is the same.

Not a tourpak, but since you have no paint now maybe this will work for you.

The PN is 67914-10.  Fits '97 and up classic tour packs. I have the same tour pack as you do.

This picture shows the stock tourpak and small backrest with the king and luggage rack. You can get some idea of how much it is covered.
