Hi Vincent,

first of all welcome to the site from the near east  ;)

... I know I'll miss the heated seat and grips and of course the tour pack but I bought it so my wife could travel with me
(we did the Euro HOG Rally in Latvia last year) But she now tells me she's done that and is no longer interested in going
on long trips and would rather wave me and the lads goodbye and go off doing her own thing. So I'm thinking will this be
a happy medium between the Road King I used to have before I bought the Ultra?

Your comments would be much appreciated.

I choose to to strip down the Ultra for travelling alone - but I can put the tour pack back on whenever it may be needed.

So did many on this board. But it still remains a heavy bagger compaired to the FLHRCI I rode before.

As an attorney I may add: letting the girls "go off doing her own thing" actually is never a good idea ...

Just my 2 cents ;)
