I know mine is there, but I can't find it.  When I got the bike, I did not have to switch on the accessory switch for the seat to work.  Then the seat stopped working.  I took it to the dealer and it came back working.  Then I noticed that I had to switch on the accessory switch to make it work now.  I can't find the original plug now.  I took it back to the dealer and they told me that there wasn't another one.  I am assuming there was a problem with the plug, so they either hid it or cut it off altogether.  If anyone finds the time to take a photo under their seat showing both plugs, I sure would appreciate it.  I'll send it over to my dealer and let them know that it's time to fix my bike the right way.

You have to be kidding...   You need to go back to your dealer with fire in your eyes...    :sauer005:

I hope this helps. There are two female connectors under the seat of my '09 SEUC:

Heated Seat (factory label) 4 pin connector with only two wires;
 Orange w/Red stripe - from P&A (power & accessories) 15 amp fuse
 Black - Ground

ACC (w/rubber plug and my label) 4 pin connector with 4 wires
 Orange w/Red stripe - from P&A  15 amp fuse
Red w/Yellow stripe - from Brake Light circuit
Orange - from fairing ACC switch
 Black - Ground

ACC connector is feed from harness under fuel tank.
Heated Seat is feed from harness behind fuse block on left side of bike, adjacent to battery.

Now go get 'em!! Good Luck

Tom P.

Thanks Tom.  That should help me out.

Thanks Tom.  I finally got around to it last night and when I removed the module that's on top of the battery, they had the plug hidden under and behind there.  I hooked the seat up to the correct plug now, and it works fine.  I have no idea why they did this.  Freakin' morons!  They literally had to take that module out to run the wire where they did, and then put the module back and used the accessory plug.  I've pulled out the work order with the complaint listed and their response so I can take it in and blast them for this.

I'm glad I was able to help, but as "Hoist" eloquently puts it, "this chit ain't ROCKET SCIENCE !!". It is certainally troubling that something as basic as this, that is clearly documented in the shop manual, is done incorrectly by "technicians?" at a HD dealership. The worst outcome of this is only a cold butt, but there are quite a few things on our motorcycles that if done incorrectly can, as the owner's manual points out,".....can cause an accident and could result in death or serious injury."
Maybe it's time to find a differant dealer or a reputable independent shop.

I was at the shop today and I decided not to even bother getting myself worked up.  I already know it will go in one ear and out the other.  I still have a few service intervals pre-paid with the Edge program, and I'll just have to keep a close eye on whatever they touch.  After that, I'll be looking around for another shop for anything I need done, but I can't seem to find anyplace closeby that's any better.  I'm told that there's a real good shop in Youngstown, OH, but it's not exactly real convenient, and convenience is a necessity also.

Hey, good for you. I'm a firm believer in "picking your battles" and not wasting your energy on the little stuff. Give yourself a pat on the back, you had a problem, did some research, solved the problem yourself, excellent.
Winter is just about over, spring is here, you own a great motorcycle, get out and enjoy life.
Best wishes
