Were you able to attach it without cutting the medallions? Looks fantastic!
Had to unbolt the 2 chrome medallions and cut them, not the way I wanted to do it but I was worried about cutting the spoiler as i felt the notches would weaken it.  Only problem is when I hook up the running light and the brake light, the brake light does not allow my rear taillight to flash on brake at all.  Has to have something to do with the Panacea LED back off feature I'm almost positive, so tomorrow I will run another wire back to the brake portion of the spoiler from the underseat harness, bypassing the taillight.

Thanks for all the positive comments, I thought it would look good, I was just worried about the leather lifting, no issues with the leather at all.

Turned out real nice Jim  :2vrolijk_21:
Thanks Greg, I wanted something different than all the other leather tourpack guys, I think I have it.  Sure is strange taking a drill and putting holes through the leather top knowing if you screw it up the only fix is a new top.  I am real happy with the finished product.  It gives me light up high which is especially good when I am pulling my trailer.

Why is it that I never seem to succeed the first time, unless I screwed up?

Had a guy in Mississippi do it at a upholstery shop, he said it took so long and was such a tough job he would never attempt another one.  When he was done with it I had to work out the bottom of the spoiler as he had a lot of lumps and crossovers from wrapping the leather and had covered the mounting holes as well.  I wanted to do it so the bike would have light up high plus be different than most you see, plus the fact I had a brand new spoiler hanging in the garage to experiment with.  Thanks for the compliment, I love it.
