Is that carpet on the floor???  Man, that sure is different from the old days!  If you bought a drag pak back when you could, you got 1 very thin seat, a simple steering wheel, a couple of gauges and a shifter.  Some didn't even have window cranks to roll the windows up and down.  They had a strap that you pulled the window up/down with!  Certainly not a back seat, cruise and consoles.

Still thanks for the pictures!!  It does bring back memories, if nothing else.  Anybody have a 69 shell they want to part with????  Those were the best.  Just big enough to easily put a BB into and light enough to make them really run.

I may have to recant on the horsepower rating for the Cobrajet. The salesman told me that it had 750-800 horses but I read somewhere yesterday that it has 475. So, don't quote me. If the lower number is correct, it is comparable to the Challenger's Drag Pak cars.

The Ford site lists it, but doesn't give any numbers.

They are advertised with 475 but they have much more. They run high 9 second quarter mile et's which says alot for the actual power output.

my understanding from a very good friend who bought one for his collection, there are four programs or settings  ranging from 475 up to 1100 h.p. I did witness his first burnout at Bristol during fun ford fri.. i will check on the h.p. rating and get back. he did elect have his delivered minus the snake. hope this helps
