Our local dealership recently received a Super Cobrajet. They ordered one last year and didn't get it. They are only making 50 of these and this one is #6. It is strictly a race car, small fuel cell in trunk, roll bars. They say it has between 750 and 800 horses. The price tag is $96,500. It really rattles the building when they fire it up.

What the hell is it doing with cruise?!!!!!!!!   Take a look at the left side of picture #5.  It also looks like it's got a friggin console!!!!!  No drag car I ever had had either.

Even if I wasn't a Mopar guy, that price tag for a toy is way out of my league. Dodge offers a factory race car package for the new Challenger called the Drag Pak Vehicle Program. Last year they only made 100 of those, I don't know how many they have made this year. They offer you three engine choices and I don't know how many variations are available on them. I haven't heard any horsepower ratings for those engines but I don't think they are as powerful as the Cobrajet. I hear that a local drag race memorabilia collector/banker is interested in this one. If he gets it, it will never see the track. Since the Cobrajet is a factory offering, I suppose that is why it got that steering wheel. As for the weight of the console, I don't know but here is another picture.
