factory handlebars

Did anyone try the 56180-08 handlebars on an '09 Glide? I like my hands closer together and closer to me. I am asking specifically concerning wire and hydraulic mods.

I've been looking at the same bars for my 09 SERG.

Hopefully someone can provide some input !!
