Did you have to change any cables or lines ?
Or did the stock ones work ?

All stock cables worked.  I didn't do the work, but the tech said they were a pain to install.  I had them installed before I picked up the bike.

What did you to secure the fairing when you removed the guards as they also hold the fairing in place. I see you have a different bracket design--is it a custom piece or off the shelf.

Paul Yaffe sells an engine guard eliminator bracket.  They make one specific for the 2009's I believe.

Looks great, turnsignals are something you won't see on every other bike.  :2vrolijk_21:

my dealer says I need 6" longer brake and clutch lines to install the 10" OEM Monkey Bars! Boy am I ever confused about this deal now. Even had Kevin from PYO call them and they say they won't work with the OEM cables.

How is the comfort especially with your arms , which height do you have ?
Could you post a pic with you sitting on the bike and holding the grips ?
And a pic when the turn left or right the handlebar to see where the grips are in comparison to the windshield , would they touch it when using a tall shield ?
