You might think about shipping it yourself. Go to your local HD dealer, talk them out of a factory shipping pallet and tie downs. Dealer here wants 10$ for one. Harley uses carboard, I used 1/4 OSB on the sides and top. Get the freight charges for the size and wieght of the pallet with bike from some shippers ( OVERNIGHT - RAODWAY - CONWAY - FED X). Most can pick up and deliver at your home or business, its cheaper if you deliver and pick up at terminal. If you can get it on and off a trailer it will save you some $. Good luck on your move. When you get to KC head south, the riding  down here around the lake and in the hills is great.

I'm still hoping something breaks here in town, but if I have to go, it will probably be the last weekend in Feb when I leave.

If you buy the enclosed trailer, use it, deduct the expense then sell it. Sounds as if it could be cheaper than renting.
