V&H Questions
« on: March 23, 2010, 08:54:50 PM »

I know a number of members have installed the V&H Power Duals and Hi-output slip-ons.  I'm looking for feedback in regards to the noise level vs. standard exhaust system especially the SESG.  Also, any noticeable power gains?  Satisfaction level?  Appreciate any comments.  :drink:

Just returned from my dealer to have the 1000 mile service done (420 miles roundtrip).  Talked to service about head pipes.  They had the V&H Power Duals in stock for my bike and since I only had 2 days available to me (no time to order any others) I had them installed.  Looks great with the Boom Cans I had previously put on.....

Then a TTS tune with a few runs on the dyno and it seems I have a new bike....
The torque difference was astounding!!  And the throttle responce difference was magic!!!  Not sure of the difference in fuel mileage because I was having such a fun trip riding home.  The sound level was just a bit louder that the boom cans alone but was able to listen to my tunes at "highway" speeds just as before.  I can only measure the oil temp via the dipstick guage but it was showing about 20 deg lower than the trip to the dealer.

Thanks for the feedback.  I'm having power duals and hi-out put slip-on installed this week when I have my 1k service done.  Also installing the SERT I purchased.  Looking forward to making a little more noise.    :huepfenjump3:
