I bought the Harbor Freight lift. The only thing i didn't like about it was the lowering pedal is very sensitive. It lowers fast so I tapped a screw through the pedal and stops the pedal from releasing the jack to fast. If someone wants a picture I will post it. Other than that it works great.

I have a Pitbull....great lift--solid and well built and the bike is very stable at all heights. Wanted a table lift but garage space was at a premium so I went with the next best thing. It was between that one and the J&S. The thing that sold me on the Pitbull was that it lifts to 25" and the J&S only went to 18".

I had a Kendon but I didn't like it, ended up selling it.  Nice and portable and all that but unless you're 6' 2"ish you can't walk/ride it up into the channel while you're on the bike.  I'm 5' 11" and as the bike rises while it goes up the little ramp in front, my feet and then toes would leave the ground.  Trying to walk it up from the side was a pain as well because of the lean on the bike.  I thought about laying down a 4x4 on each side for my feet but it just seemed kinda mickey mouse.

I've saw the Pit Bull and I think that might be my next one unless someone points out negatives to that one as well.../shrug

Have both a Handy and a Pit Bulll

If you get a Handy get the one that the deck drops out under the rear tire. Makes it much easier to work on the rear tire.

Pit Bull is nice but you have to put the set screws down or the lift and bike will move around on you. Works great for most servicing of the bike and is very sturdy for a rolling lift.

What kind of pan do you use for draining the oil that fits between the Pitbull rails??

I have a Handy which is excellent quality and a great product.I also have a new Direct lift. The Direct Lift has the drop tail and dual mounting position on the front vise for long bikes. The quality is better than most so I was surprised when I found the China sticker!
