Damn, hope it ain't some company from China, that would completely kill my love of OUR beloved (and often bitched about) American Company.  I'd buy from Japan long before I'll buy from China.....  OK OK, I know I just pissed some folks off, WHEN given the choice, I buy American.  Sometimes pay more for the same thing but so be it.

Before our new president, interest was $500 million per day. Perhaps we should refinance?  Or default and then bail ourselves out with taxpayer money?

someone told me they opened a few stores in India yesterday.  and that caused stock to go up.

I hate to be a wise ass (well, not really), but in case you weren't aware of it let me let you in on a little secret.  That Harley you recently purchased has plenty of Japanese and Chinese parts straight from the factory.  And it will have more and more offshore parts in the future, as they try to regain and maintain the huge profit margins and executive compensation packages of a few years ago.  American company in name and headquarters location, but rapidly becoming just another "global" company in search of the cheapest components.  When labor becomes the highest cost category, you can bet that the assembly operations will also move elsewhere.  So it wouldn't surprise me if your next Harley was assembled in Mexico, India, or even China.  If you think I'm blowing smoke, just look at the last 20 years of the history of the American auto industry.

The Harley financing arm of the company will be taken over to ease the burden for the rest of the company. A CEO's job is to streamline and since he is paid in stock options, get the stock price up and make more $ for himself and investors. I have had HOG since March of 09 when it was under $9. a share. Is it going back to $50+? I sure hope so..... That being said,  I put in a new stop loss weekly while it is climbing like a balloon.What goes up.....

Nothing you said is a shocker to me.........  I wish it was but it ain't.  If my "next" Harley is assembled anywhere else, I just won't own one again....

the only good news is , I bought a few shares in the $10 per share range, which now, means I could buy a few more bikes, come on $70
