so you may well be right and the item will be the same for HDI and Domestic

This pic is the back of the HDI 06 CUSE, Dave. Man is it ugly! Anyone got the same pic of a domestic one for comparison please?

No, cos it has the bullet turn signals - it'll be different again from the 05 SEEG, though I'd guess it'll be the same as yours.

Agreed, it is not too pretty, but on the bright side, just take off and throw away the lower plate mount, fit a nice tip light to cover the holes and your Kuryakyn smoked laydown LED tail light with uplighter then mount your small UK plate up under the tour pak.

Piece of cake old boy

Cheers

Jim,
There is a side view of one (still trying to find rear view) that came from "Must Have Changes to the SE Ultra" (reply #28) thread.

Update: There is another one with a better shot of rear (still not directly behind) that came from "paint problems" (reply #133) thread.

Thanks Fired00d.  Not quite close enough to a back view to see if the light bar is different, but it certainly highlights how much nicer it is than the HDI one!

Here's another shot of the rear lights (liberated and cropped from another member's post):

Thanks GRC, thanks Fired00d.  Looks like the light bar is the same on HDI and Domestic CUSE, but the fender is different. Damn! I didn't want to have to fit a fender tip, I just wanted to make it look like the domestic models with the Cloisonne!  :'(

Jim,

I can't tell for sure from the photo, but it looks like you could use the cloisonne where the top screw goes, and then you only have to deal with the two bottom screw holes.  If there's nothing else hidden behind that bracket, perhaps a good body person could fill and paint the two holes?

Thanks Fired00d - that's a perfect one.  I've got the big ugly black bracket off my current Ultra in my hand, and from it it looks like, the fender on my new bik will have three holes.  If I can get the Cloisonne (which remains to be seen!) it might cover the centre one, which will be a bigger, centre hole, a couple of inches above the other two, and the two lower ones can be filled by nice chrome bolts or something.  Failing that, I guess it'll have to be a fender tip job....
