LEDs For the tail lights
« on: April 06, 2010, 10:36:11 PM »

I've looked through the old posts on the subject but has anyone added LEDs and would reccomend a system or vendor that has worked well for our bikes?
Thanks

When putting LED lights on make sure you get the brightest you can find!! my bike has them and I plan on finding brighter ones.I think they were bought at the dealer. My riding buddies say they are hard to see and thats the last thing you want..the brighter the better

Another vote for custom dynamics.  Have them on my tail light and turn signals.  Work great.

Check this out on Ebay, this guy has 50 pages of LED's for sale from bulbs to complete shaped circuits.
I bought the 4 led red 194 bulbs for my instruments and they are awesome.  3 day delivery out of Texas

Question for the people that have used the Custom Dynamics 44 light Tomestone style.  Was the tag light on top a problem?  Or did you just remove it?  I like there setup but I see its for the normal Tombstone style tail light not the CVO.  I think our shape is the same, we just have our tags in a different spot.

I got them on tonight. It took about 20 min. I got the "triple Play" so that the rear signals come on with the brakes. I did have some trouble getting the front led panels aligned up prpoerly in the housing.  Rears were fine. I'll use some double side mounting tape to get the fronts like I want it. Everything was plug and play, no alarm problems, and is WAY brighter than the stock stuff. I will give this mod :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:
