Lou & Terry
Just read about your bad adventure in Ohio.
Lou glad to hear you are okay and Terry is recovering from her injuries.
God was with you guys on this one. I hope and pray all is well.
It was a pleasure to meet you in Maggie Valley and hope to make it out to Tahoe next June.

Again thanks for your kind thoughts. Its early am and neither one of us can sleep and too sore to travel. I couldn't understand why the toe of my right boot got scuffed until I felt my ankle this morning. Riding that Dragon in MV must have prepared me for extreme leaning. I went over so far to the left the rear floor board went through the clutch cover and got torn off and then to the right and got my boot...thanks for the lessons on the Dragon Chip ;D I think the bike whipped over so fast that Terry got deposited on the pavement exactly were she was sitting, like the china on the table cloth trick, but out of harms way. The truckers were all over us in an instant and took care of the rest.
I just can't get over the strength of that Harley frame and the durability of that Bushtec. The extra money we pay for both is well worth it.
Doc
Hey Doc, did the Bushtec break loose at the hitch pin or did the tongue stay hooked to it.

un-friggin-believable.  just makes me sick to my stomach.  motorcycles should have their own roads (maybe in heaven).  Glad everything's going to be OK.  it just doesn't seem like it now........

To Superman and Wonder Woman,

When will drivers learn it takes more than a 3 ton SUV to do in the man of steel and his damsel on their CVO.

Looks like you'll be riding the chopper for a few days until the insurance company comes through.

Glad you both are still with us!

We were too beat up and sore to stay in Ohio so we rented a car and did two 14 hour days and are now home. The I-70 past Denver was what we needed to get our spirits up...we hurt, cried and marveled at what a beautiful country to live in. Watching the sun come up with ERA on the stereo made us reflect on how lucky we were and how grateful were were to the truckers, troopers, doctors and nurses that came to our aid and all the wonderful people we met on this trip. I grateful to have such a wonderful wife and that we can ride another day.
