orangeseeg,

Even though I don't have Rineharts, those are very cool [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I might have to look into the Rinehart 2:1 so I can get a end cap like that!! Very nice!

Only a great idea like that could come from a fellow Wisconsinite [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Good Job,

Grover

CEEJ-

I saw a picture of them in an advertisment, and yes, they do have an endcap. But bigger diameter than the Tru-duals.

I am working with an machine shop that turns these out of billet alum. than has them powder coated then sends out to engraver for what ever design you want. This is the design that I sent them. Do any of you have a different idea? We do not have to go with the design that is in picture. There seems to be a lot of great artist on our forum with some great ideas. I would like them to make the 103 bigger/bolder but they cannot go over the lip with laser engraving. I was wondering what you guys thought of these the whey they are or any other design you guys come up with. In briefly talked to them about a group buy if you guys had some good feedback on these and they welcomed it but were a little ify on mass producing the design I sent them with hd's trademark on it. I do not want anyone to get in legal trouble. So that is were I wondered if we could chage the design a little with our own logo? The machine shop offers a lot of differant tips just not for the rineharts. I will try in post another pic of some differant end caps they offer. I know Vance & Hines, Hooker,Jardine or as long as your tip is removable they can make a clone in any color.

I do like the ones you posted, but if you/they are concerned with litigation from MoCo I can definitely understand that. We could always beg for forgiveness after they were made/installed. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Just a thought, how about one that matches the patches that we already have for this website?

Small sample of some of the tips besides the bub tips. I know they used to anodize them but they turned colors like our rineharts do. So know they just powdercoating the solid billet.

Either design is cool. But I prefer the orginal design. But don't want to get anyone in trouble with the MOCO. We have enough problems with them on paint issues.

Just tell the MOCO "It's supposed to be that way!" [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

I really like the tip with the CVO pin logo... no MOCO worries. What about those of us that don't have/can't put out the $ (at the moment) for Rineharts. How about tips that fit the stock mufflers?
